Broker's Comments

This is a well found and sought after classic ex working sailing barge with a huge amount of character and history. She started as a trading barge in the south of Holland, had a brief spell owned by the church as a houseboat during WWII assisting people bombed out of their homes and then most recently owned by extremely knowledgeable enthusiasts who have both lived aboard and sailed her at sea and through the canals

She is fully in commission and able to sail away, her rig is easily lowered and stowed for canal transits or transport and although she is not fully modernised she is well enough equipped to make the most fantastic if quirky liveaboard.

The current owners have been meticulous with their maintenance and she is freshly painted and looking smart. The engine room is vast and well ordered and the engine runs well as shown on the video

This really is a boat that has to be seen to be fully appreciated for what she is and what she can do. We'd be very happy to show you around!
