Broker's Comments

Vindo yachts were built in Notesunds Yard, Sweden by a family with an extensive history of producing fine quality boats. 650 of the Vindo 40 (the 40 relates to sail area rather than length) were built between 1970 and 1982.

A quotation from the Swedish magazine Båtnytt: "Vindo 40 is one of those solid boats from Orust which seem to last forever. It is due to the unusual high quality from the start.

She has the advantages of a heavily laid GRP hull alongside the beauty of mahogany and teak and will no doubt turn heads everywhere she goes.

The current owner has undertaken extensive works including replacing the engine and standing rigging, rebuilding the cockpit and upgrading the electrics including new batteries. The rig is currently off and she is ashore so available for easy inspection in a good yard who know her well.
