Broker's Comments

The Dufour 2800, a spritely and capable family cruiser, needs no introduction. Over 1300 were built to cope with demand and they are said to be only the 2nd most popular Dufour ever built. This French designed yacht has a deep cockpit, an uncluttered deck and would make a great starter boat as a family cruiser, couples weekender or single hander.

This one fitted with a handy swing keel is surprisingly stable and allows you to explore areas other boats can’t. The swing keel, which was completely renewed in 2012, is enclosed in a small keel stub housing and doesn’t encroach onto the accommodation above.

This well designed accommodation is light, with good headroom and plenty of storage. It also offers berths for 5 with one double berth and three singles. The nav and saloon tables can be folded neatly away and the upholstery, which was renewed in 2014, is in good condition.

Cleaned, tidied up, scrubbed and anti-fouled in March 2017, she’s now looking for new owners and adventures.

The owner has comprehensive paperwork for this vessel including proof of VAT paid status, historic Bills of Sale and a full history of ownership.
