Boatshed Falmouth are pleased to offer this very high specification, well cared for Classic Maurice Griffiths designed Golden Hind 31. GRP double chine construction, she is a shoal draught cruiser. Deeply traditional in design, Golden Hind 31s are tough, sea kindly and make excellent offshore cruisers - indeed other Golden Hind 31's have circumnavigated the globe.
This particular boat was the subject of a major refit between 1999 and 2000 where an exhaustive list of work to all aspects of the boat was undertaken by professional tradesmen. Receipts for all the work undertaken are available to view,
Since her re-launch in 2001 new items have been fitted as required and a list (& receipts) of these items is also available. She has wintered ashore every winter when routine annual servicing has been undertaken. Her latest upgrade for 2019 has been a new set of canvasses (Sprayhood, stackpack and hatch covers).
This is an excellent example of a ketch rigged Golden Hind 31 - the mizzen providing additional balance in the stronger wind. I really do recommend a viewing of this classic yacht which is a credit to her current owners.
