Broker's Comments

This is a purpose-built narrowboat intended for a cruising couple. The age of the boat belies the care given by the only owners since new and could pass for a much newer craft.

The cruiser-style aft deck is spacious and comes with steel railings and a wrap-around canvass skirt. Through the companionway to the well fitted galley with dark grey worktop, four-burner hob and separate eye-level electric oven. A side-hatch is well placed over the sink to make the washing up less of a chore.

The saloon consists an L-shaped seat that can be turned into a double berth for occasional guests. The stove provides additional heating and has a hinged enclosure to contain the heat when the berth is in use. A second side-hatch provides additional light and air to the boat. Both side-hatches have toughened glass panels for wet or cold days.

The heads has an electric toilet with holding tank, a stainless-steel basin and separate shower compartment with folding doors.

At the forward of the boat is the main cabin with full-sized permanent double berth with storage beneath. Access is also provided through to the good-sized cratch with seating and folding table.

BSS certificate is current until 2021.

This is a lovely boat and ideal for a couple to cruise the canals. The owners are hanging up their lock-keys and the sale includes all accessories currently aboard.
