US SV Angel Louise - The Spanish Rias in fog
Hi Honorary Crew, Sue and I are in the center of Shellfishing industry of NW Spain. Mussels or Moules are big industry in Galicia.
Our weather has turned foggy with a low pressure area and rain here. It will play havoc with the intended mountain-top bus trip for today. We are at A Pobra de Caramiñal on Angel Louise, only seeing a mile or two away yesterday.
We will stay in this Ria on Monday when the rest of the OCC Rally boats go one bay north of here. We expect weather to get clearer Monday. Temperatures have been in a five degree range around 72 degrees for last couple days with fog and mist.
The food has been unbelievable.
(& Sue) Kelly - on USSV ANGEL LOUISE, slowly making our way to islands off West Africa for a December West-bound crossing to the Americas!
