Broker's Comments

Condor 37 is a boat of a very distinctive design . One of those boats that stand out in the marina catching our eye every time we walk past her.
This particular model really triggers my imagination making me want to sail her. First feature that makes this boat unique is the teak deck. The entire deck ,side decks , cockpit and coach roof are covered in teak. Even tiny cockpit side lockers are finished with teak which gives this boat a very cosy sailor friendly feel. The companion way hatches are positioned at the very top of the coach roof which indicates the true purpose of this design. As we step down to the the cabin on the starboard side we have a spacious but not too big galley with plenty of storage in nicely arranged lockers. Mirrors on the walls make the interior much better lit giving us an illusion of some extra space to the aft of the main cabin. On the port side we have a double berth fitted on top of some pretty impressive size lockers. The main cabin layout forms a big open plan space consisting of a galley , double aft berth , C-shaped saloon with a modular movable table, a navigation desk and one quarter berth on the starboard side. One of my favourite features on this boat is the nav desk. Well designed work space out of the way but forward facing and positioned around the midships area. On the forward bulkhead we find a sliding door leading to a spacious head with a shower and a hand basin and some extra storage for both smaller and coat size items. Toilet area opens onto a forward cabin with a V berth.
What initially strikes me inside the Condor 37 is the open plan which feels very relaxed and easy to move around and the amount of wood used to finish the cabins. Although this boat hull and coach roof was designed to deal with some rough sea conditions and it's small windows make it a bit dark inside, after switching the lights on it immediately turns into a very cosy space.

First impression on boarding this vessel is that the boat needs some love. She hasn't been sailed in a while and many little things either broke or suffered from lack of servicing or simply aging. When all the little things are done this boat will be an absolute dream to sail. She's got a great hull profile, nice simple rig and a powerful engine. All she needs is a dedicated sailor with a bit of time and will to do some work.
