Broker's Comments
This Baltic Ice class steel vessel was built in Poland, and converted to be used as a survey vessel in 1994, until 2017. A recent ultrasonic hull survey conducted by MERPRO showed no significant works required. A recent marine survey commented that the vessel was in a very good and serviceable condition having been built to a very high commercial specification and that if continued to be maintained would have many years of commercial use. The current owner continues to maintain the vessel.
With a Wola 420hp diesel engine and two Bukh 16.8kva generators, Moon pool and all safety equipment required, this vessel is capable of continuing with off shore survey work, whilst also maintaining it's coding by MECAL for category 2 waters.
Good visibility from the steering position, within the wheel house, with Kent screens fitted to the forward facing windows. Coded to carry 12 passengers, with 2 cabins sleeping 8, with galley and 2 heads providing all off shore utilities for extended passages.
