Broker's Comments

Beneteau France built about 50 of the First 36s7 design, a comfortable cruiser racer that really could be either. Fin keeled with a small bulb and fractional rig give her the performance, but below she has plenty of headroom, good berth length and lots of useable storage so distance cruising or living aboard are well within her remit

The decks are clear and the cockpit well laid out with lines leading over the coach roof for ease of handling. She has had considerable work undertaken in her recent yard period (relaunched May 2022) , including: engine rebuild, seacocks, rudder bearing and some rigging and although there are a few signs of wear she really doesn't look her age. She has just enough teak to break up the white and keep a sleek modern look without adding too much maintenance!

Below the layout is practical and spacious and she feels clean and fresh. The aft cabin has a large double and the forecabin can be either singles or a double with the infill. Both sides of the saloon have leecloths so usable berths but also a is a comfortable seating area with a large dining table.

In the 21 years of current ownership she has posted results at both Cowes and Cork Week, been around the Island and also enjoyed cruising the south coast of the UK. Hot water and cabin heating, a well laid out galley and good sized heads make her a liveaboard option too and she's freshly antifouled (May 2022) so in the water awaiting your viewing
