Broker's Comments
Cornish Crabbers build their boats from start to finish in Cornwall, England and have done for over 40 years. They are tough and yet classically pretty and with standing headroom of over 6' and a clever layout down below she feels more like a 30 footer than just 24.
This Cornish Cutter is bermudan rigged with slab reefing in lazyjacks and has twin furling headsails on a retractable bowsprit. She can be sailed singlehandedly with ease but has a spacious and comfortable cockpit if you choose to allow crew to join you!
But this is not your average Cornish Cutter. From new she was highly spec'd with the bigger engine and the beautiful Cedar deckhead and thanks to a highly knowledgeable and skilled current owner she has had numerous improvements since. All modifications have been carried out with forethought and care and she has been extremely well maintained throughout.
I have been struggling to think of a negative point to temper my enthusing! I was brought up sailing a 24' cruising boat and I have to say I wouldn't have known I was born had it been this one! Really lovely!
