Broker's Comments
The Offshore 105, built in Cornwall UK by Port Isaac Marine, is a popular and well-liked design seen all over the coast of the UK in various guises. They are commercial fishing, charter angling and diving boats, passenger carrying and lots of other uses besides
This 105 is a prime example of their versatility. She started as a dive charter vessel, worked as a standby vessel (hence extra mast lights) and then was angling for a time until her current ownership where she is a committee boat for yacht racing in the Solent. She is coded and so has all the necessary safety equipment aboard although the liferaft is on hire
The 500hp Iveco engine, easily accessed from the lifting deck hatch, was stripped down and fully rebuilt in 2002 including all new bearings, seals and pistons and piston liners. She is serviced and maintained by a local engineer and has under 500 hours since rebuild.
Crew accommodation is ample. The extended wheelhouse gives plenty of seating and a good galley, and the coachroof overhangs the aft deck giving lots of shelter. The forward cabin has single berths and heads and a double berth can be formed in the saloon if required. She has diesel air heating
She is a working boat and so would benefit from some tidying up to the interior but is in commission at the end of the regatta season. She is currently afloat for viewing
